Loo Niva, in collaboration with SERESCOCAL, Mahankal Rural Municipality, and local school communities, organized Integrated Curriculum training on integrated curriculum practices from May 23–25, 2025. Conducted across all wards of Mahankal RM in two clusters, the training engaged 82 teachers, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills to implement participatory, inclusive, and child-centered classrooms aligned with national education reforms. Facilitator Mr. Nani Ram Sanjel led sessions on inquiry-based learning, active engagement, technology integration, and multidisciplinary approaches: anchored in the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2076 and the National Education Policy 2076. The training concluded with practical exercises in reflective assessment, evaluation, and student-responsive strategies, with teachers expressing strong commitment to applying integrated methods in their teaching practice.
Building on this momentum, a third cluster training was conducted in Konjyosom Rural Municipality on June 20–21, 2025, in coordination with the RM at Banaspati School. This session brought together 28 teachers from across Konjyosom, aiming to reinforce the same core principles and enhance classroom delivery through an integrated approach. As with Mahankal, the Konjyosom training emphasized innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning, further strengthening local capacity to support holistic student development. Both municipalities have committed to monitoring classroom implementation and supporting continuous teacher growth.
By empowering teachers, integrating curriculum approaches, Loo Niva is helping to create more engaging and holistic learning environments for students in rural areas of Lalitpur district.
