In August 2025, a two-day orientation was organized on the National Strategy on Ending Child Marriage (2082). The event brought together 12 local champions and 22 child club members, focusing on the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders in preventing and responding to child marriage at the community level.
Participants explored the intersections between child marriage, education, and the rights of children with disabilities, emphasizing inclusive approaches to ensure that no child is left behind. The orientation also guided participants in developing cascading action plans and mapping child marriage risk zones within their communities. These activities strengthened coordination between child clubs and local leaders, equipping members to take proactive steps to protect children and promote their rights.
