On May 6th, a collaborative meeting took place in Bhageshwar RM, organized by the Social Development Office of Dadeldhura in collaboration with Loo Niva. The program aimed to enhance the capacity of the members of the Local Child Rights Committee (LCRC) and saw participation from key stakeholders, including the Coordinator of LCRC of Bhageshwar RM and the head of the Children's Section in Bhageshwar RM. The objectives of the meeting were to strengthen the capacity of the LCRC, receive a commitment to end child marriage, and orient the LCRC on their roles and responsibilities. In total 29 participants, including 22 males and 7 females participated in the program. During the event, the Vice-Chair or Coordinator of LCRC of Bhageshwar committed to developing more programs and allocating a budget in the fiscal year 2081/2082 to promote child rights and protection. The program was a significant step towards ensuring the well-being of children in the region.
Similarly, On May 12th, another crucial event was held in Ajaymeru RM, organized by the Social Development Office in collaboration with Loo Niva, which provided technical support. This program focused on enhancing the capacity of LCRC and solidifying commitments to child rights protection. Key outcomes of the event included a commitment from LCRC to end child marriage and a comprehensive orientation for LCRC on their roles and responsibilities. The collaboration between the Social Development Office of Dadeldhura, Loo Niva, and the LCRCs of Bhageshwar and Ajaymeru RMs underscores the importance of joint efforts in promoting and protecting child rights. Through these initiatives, significant steps are being made towards creating a safer and more supportive environment for children.
