The monitoring and evaluation along with the program team conducted the internal monitoring visit at the different areas of the PREP, CLEAP, and ESP projects during the month of May and June 2023. They visited the project schools of Konjyosom and Mahankal rural municipalities. They conducted the meetings with the chairperson, vice-chair, chief administrative officer, education officer, head of children, women, and senior citizen branch and ward chairpersons and interact with the child clubs, SMC/PTA members, and teachers. The meeting focused on the education and child rights policies, child club mobilization, engagement and initiations of SMC/PTA members at PREP schools, accessibility audits and effects that have been seen in the school, the plan related to the recommendation of the report and the present status of the school emergency support fund at school. The monitoring team focused on the status of child rights and protection and their system in rural municipalities. The team visited project schools where they conducted individual interviews and interactions with trained teachers and child club members. The school-level program focused on the child-friendly school environment management, skill, and knowledge learning environment created by mobile meetings and leadership quality in child club and their developed skills and functioning status of child club.
Officers of Loo Niva have also visited the project schools of Lalitpur and Kathmandu i.e., Shree Bajra Barahi Secondary School and Shree Udaya Kharka Secondary School respectively. They consulted with the focal teacher regarding the student's academics. status and also conducted individual interactions with ESP students and did counseling as per need.
