Child club-led social change initiatives continued to play a vital role in promoting child rights, protection, inclusion, and community awareness across both project municipalities. Loo Niva supported 27 school-level events (18 events in Bhageshwar Rural Municipality and 9 in Nawadurga Rural Municipality) of child clubs that include. Altogether, 751 participants were directly engaged, including 375 girls, 373 boys, and 3 children with disabilities, through various interactive activities such as street dramas, quizzes, debates, drawing competitions, and public speaking events. The sessions focused on key issues, including child marriage, school dropout, disability inclusion, gender equality, and child protection, with strong participation from children and adolescents, particularly from marginalized groups.
These child-led initiatives provided effective platforms for children’s voices, social advocacy, and community dialogue, contributing to increased awareness and strengthening the local child protection system through active youth engagement.
