As part of the 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence, Loo Niva, in collaboration with Konjyosom Rural Municipality, supported child clubs, SAMANA, and the Local Advocacy and Monitoring Committee to lead youth-driven advocacy on digital violence and child marriage on 8-9 December 2025. The two-day initiative included a public rally, street drama, and interactive dialogue, engaging children, parents, community leaders, and local authorities.
Child club members performed street dramas highlighting digital harassment, child marriage, and harmful social norms, making the issues accessible at the community level. An interactive dialogue at the Rural Municipality office further explored root causes of digital violence, emphasizing safe reporting, survivor-centered approaches, and coordinated community responses.
The program amplified youth voices, strengthened collaboration among local stakeholders, and increased awareness of the links between digital violence and child marriage. It reinforced the need for collective action, empowered youth leadership, and responsive local systems to prevent gender-based violence and protect children.
